Do you have some time to prepare a good breakfast? Then make the pancakes! The pancakes is a flat cake, often thin and round. American and Canadian pancakes (sometimes called hotcakes, griddlecakes, or flapjacks) are usually served at breakfast, in a stack of two or three, topped with maple syrup. They are often served with other items such as bacon, toast, eggs or sausage. They are very easy to do and, I assure you, they are eaten immediately!
Ingredients
- 120 Gr. Flour
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 eggs
- 200ml milk
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
Preparation
- Sift the flour into a bowl
- Add the salt and sugar, form a fountain and put the yolks in the center.
- Add the milk and whisk the mixture well.
- Snow the egg whites and incorporate them with a spatula
- Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat(the diameter of the pancakes is about 12 cm, so the pan should not be very wide) lightly greased with butter
- Pour in the center the amount of three tablespoons of dough; brown on both sides.
- Serve with maple syrup, sprinkled with icing sugar, with nutella and rolled up, or with crispy bacon … have fun!
Notes
On the market they sell some forms to put inside the pan and fill with the pancake dough that allow to create pancakes with funny shapes that please children and even adults, giving a nice touch to the pancake. Hearts, flowers, bees, ….
