We want to talk about apples! How many varieties we know, sweet, sour, soda paste, crispy, red, yellow, green, rust… we could continue to write about it indefinitely! Of course they are ideal companions of sweets! Today I share the recipe of an apple pie made with mascarpone: the result is amazing!!
Ingredients
24 cm Cake pan
- 200 Gr. Flour
- 150 Gr. Sugar : 1 tablespoon for the surface
- 250 gr mascarpone
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- Cinnamon to taste
- 6 apples
Preparation
- Whip the eggs with salt and sugar. The mixture should be frothy and clear
- Add the mascarpone, and when combined, add the flour sifted with baking powder. If you want, add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon (it is optional)
- Cut into small pieces 4 medium large apples and mix them well in the dough
- Transfer to a paper-lined or buttered baking tin.
- Clean the remaining two apples and slice them thinly.
- Arrange the slices on the surface of the cake in a circular way, with the thickest part facing the high, the arrangement creates a rose effect.
- Sprinkle the surface with little brown sugar
- Bake in a hot oven: static at 180 degrees for 45 minutes, fan oven at 175 degrees for 45 minutes
