Nice, delicious, healthy. Oat flakes biscuits are delicious balls made with oats and bananas enriched with what you like most: blueberries, dates, raisins, cinnamon, chocolate, honey. A delicious and super super healthy snack. Don’t linger, try them!!!
Ingredients for about 20 balls
- 2 medium bananas: The riper the banana the better.
- Oat flakes 300 gr
- grated zest of 1 lemon
- Optional:
- blueberries/ dates/ dried fruits/ dark chocolate in nuggets, and if you have sweet tooth add 2 spoons of honey.
Preparation
- In a bowl crush the bananas well with a fork
- Add the grated lemon peel
- Gradually incorporate the oat flakes, mixing well. if you see that the texture and too soft (depends on the size of the bananas) add a little more oats.
- Add the optional ingredients by mixing them well.
- With your hands make small balls: scoop about 2 tablespoons of the mixture and roll into a 1-inch ball. Repeat with the rest of the mixture.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper, and place the ballon 1 to 2 centimetre apart.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes. Balls should be slightly golden on the surface and hardened to the touch.
- Let them cool and enjoy them.
Notes
Today I tried to prepare them with half squeezed orange and about ten dates cut into small pieces into the mixture of banana and oat: amazing!
