Apple pie without scale

Apple pie is a classic dessert; there are many excellent recipes that require you to weigh the ingredients. Today I propose a recipe that can be made wherever you are, without a scale. You’re only going to need a spoon.

 

Ingredients

24 cm

  • 12 tablespoons flour
  • 8 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 10 tablespoons milk
  • peel of 1 lemon
  • 6 apples
  • 1 salt outlet

Preparation

  1. Whip the eggs with salt and sugar. The mixture should be fluffy and clear
  2. Dissolve yeast in warm milk
  3. Add the sifted flour, lemon peel and milk with yeast to the egg and sugar mixture.
  4. Cut into small pieces or slices 4 medium large apples and mix well with the dough
  5. Transfer to a paper-lined cake pan
  6. Clean the remaining two apples and slice them thinly.
  7. Arrange the slices on the surface of the cake in a circular way, with the thicker part facing the top, decorate the surface.
  8. Bake in a hot oven: static at 180 degrees for 45 minutes, ventilated at 175 degrees for 45 minutes
