Crackers with seeds

Do you want to make crackers where the main ingredient is seeds? A mix of seeds of your taste, sesame, pumpkin, flax, sunflower, chia … to be enjoyed with hummus, guacamole, cheese! Follow the recipe, very fast and super super good and healthy !!

Ingredients

  • 300 gr seeds (sesame, sunflower, pumpkin, chia, poppy, flax)
  • 1/2 glass of water
  • salt or see salt flakes
  • Spices (optional)

Method

Put the seeds in a bowl or deep dish and mix thoroughly. Add a pinch of salt only in the case you don’t want to sprinkle the surface with see salt flakes, and, if desired, your favorite spices: I added chopped rosemary, but you can add basil, thyme or sage, paprika, saffron, in short, whatever you like best.

Mix well then add about half a glass of water, little by little stirring and letting the seeds absorb the liquid. There should be no liquid left at the bottom of the bowl. You will need to get a compact and heavy mass.

Line a baking tray with parchment paper, turn the seeds over and level them with a wide blade knife by pressing lightly. If you have not already salted the crackers sprinkle them with the flakes of salt.

Preheat the convection oven to 200 degrees, bake for 15 minutes. Allow to cool, then cut into lozenges and let the crackers completely cool before consuming them, either alone or accompanied by creams, cheeses and prosciutto.

Very good spread with peanut butter or almonds butter.
